Group Therapy

There are three approaches to group work.  One is support.  Another is to have groups focus on a particular subject, task, or resolution.  The third is therapy itself, often described as group therapy.  The reason for these approaches is to provide the appropriate level of care and psychotherapy where it is needed.

Dr. Lewis has done extensive work with small groups.  He has years of experience from his work at Stroger Hospital.  Rev. Miyamoto is trained to do group work.  He has worked with different kinds of small groups in the parish and counseling setting.  And Parish Nurse Ruchniewicz has years of experience with support groups.  From grief to parenting, the subjects cover a lot of life’s challenges.  Also, if TCC does not offer what you need, we will help you locate a group that fits your needs.
