Clergy Support Services

Clergy Conversations

Clergy Conversations is a new service offered to clergy of all faith traditions.  It developed out of Rev. Charles’ experience in the pastorate and his passion to help clergy in crisis, at emotional crossroads, in career transition, or in the many other life situations a clergy person can face.  While long hours, sacrifices, and hardships are not unlike the demands of other careers, the context of the church, temple, or worship center has its unique challenges.  Relationships, boundaries, family responsibilities, and finances have a special dimension to them while serving a community of faith.  The purpose of this service is to provide a confidential and safe place to talk, question, contemplate, and discern.  The use of the word, ‘Conversation’ is intentional.  It may involve therapy but the design and format is a conversational meeting.  It is private and personal.  It is faith-centered.  It may be a one-time conversation or continue on a regular basis.
